I also ran through a few burn in checkers on mine like this and it looked fairly uniform

WebWell it’s not as “glorious looking” because the current darker menu theme is not designed for an OLED display. The current dark menu is just a shade of gray. Where an OLED truly shines compared to an LCD is with a true blacks, not grays. Hopefully the next system update adds a true black theme for the OLED systems. WebResting won't help burn-in. OLED suffers from burn in because each pixel lights itself and each pixel's brightness lowers with use. And as each pixel lights up, it slowly loses brightness the more it is used. Think of incandescent light bulbs, that get dimmer and dimmer over time until it eventually burns out.
