WebMay 23, 2012 · The center hub bearing dust caps on my Wilwood "Big Brake Kit" for 1966 Mustang are held in by a small rubber "O" ring and a prayer. The caps, like the hub, are black. If the brakes heat up, and therefore the hubs, pressure builds up inside the hub enough to blow the dust caps off the hub. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a fix?
