WebCosentyx is a prescription medication used to treat plaque psoriasis and types of arthritis. Cosentyx is administered via subcutaneous injection and contains the active ingredient secukinumab, which belongs to a class of drugs called monoclonal antibodies. Cosentyx works by inhibiting interleukin-17A, which plays a role in inflammation. Dosage WebCosentyx may be administered with or without MTX. AS (with a loading dose): 150mg by SC inj at Weeks 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 and every 4 weeks thereafter; (without a loading dose): 150mg every 4 weeks.
